- All right, so you tried my wftpd and found it buggy. Did you try
- reporting those bugs? I have no record of you contacting me and
- asking about fixing any of these bugs. I apologise if it's due to an
- accidental deletion from my mailbox, but if not, please report your
- problems and see if maybe I can fix them. I have had an excellent
- response so far to wftpd, and many people registering because they
- find it less problem than WinQVT/Net's implementation.

- I'd like to make mine into a good ftpd, but without people reporting
- bugs that they find, it's unlikely that it'll ever happen.

- IBM's Person to Person package offers networked dde over winsock, using a
- shared clipboard similar to wfwg. Wfwg offers net dde but the tcp/ip is
- causing me problems at present so I can't say whether net dde is possible over
- tcp/ip but it will work with netbiu.

- Subject: Looking for WinSOCK backup software
-
- Hi,
-
- I'm looking or a WINSOCK compliant backup program (say a tar clone) that will
- allow me to backup my hard disk to a tape drive mounted on a Unix machine.
-
- PC/TCP has one that runs from a DOS box, but I think that this uses the FTP
- stack directly, anyway I would rather like a PD or Shareware program.
-
- Thanks in advance.
